SHINE is a successful grant-making organisation with more than fifteen years’ experience of tackling educational inequality and helping to ensure that children from low income homes are given the best possible educational chances. To date, we have invested more than £24.5 million in projects helping 280,000 children from 5,000 schools.
Having been based near London historically, SHINE is now seeking to refocus its efforts to the benefit of children in the North of England from our office based in Central Leeds.
We are seeking an exceptional Programme Manager to develop and implement our new grant making strategy for the North of England. The ideal candidate would be someone who can build strong working relationships and work in a ‘hands on’ way with teachers and schools as they develop their proposals for funding.
You may be someone with grant-making experience already, or you may have a teaching or education background. Whatever your current role, you must be a team player who can demonstrate the passion and drive to help SHINE achieve its vision.
