Here at SHINE we’ve always known how to put on a great event. Get a group of interesting people together, find a fantastic venue and throw in some great food and wine, and you’re good to go! Our last do at the House of Lords drew quite a crowd, so we thought this year we’d go even bigger and hold our first big Dinner since we took the decision to move North.

On Monday 14th October, SHINE is holding a Dinner that promises to be extra special. Thanks to our wonderful Patron Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell, SHINE will be holding a Dinner at the beautiful Great Hall at the University of Manchester – a beacon of excellence in the North and a part of our region’s rich heritage.

At the Dinner, we’ll be joining forces with leading figures from across education, business and politics to rediscover the enormous potential of the North, and to place the life chances of our region’s most disadvantaged children, at its heart.

Our special guests for the evening will include Sir Howard Bernstein, Lord O’Neill, Baroness Susan Campbell and Councillor Judith Blake, amongst many others.

Places are strictly limited, but if you think you should be there too, please email info@shinetrust.org.uk and we’d be happy to add you to the waiting list.
