Donate through Self-Assessment
From April 2004 anyone completing a Self-Assessment Tax Return has been able to nominate a charity to receive all or part of any repayment due to them. This means that you can make a donation to SHINE as part of completing your tax return.
This scheme complements the Gift Aid scheme and any donation you make is paid directly to SHINE. Furthermore, if you complete the Gift Aid declaration on your tax return, the Gift Aid tax is sent to SHINE without us even needing to make a claim!
You need just two pieces of information to donate in this way:
- our charity name – SHINE: Support and Help in Education
- our unique reference number – DAL24MG
