Donate by Credit Card
We recognise that, for most people, the simplest and easiest method of making a donation is via credit card.
Historically, SHINE has not accepted payments by credit cards because the commission charged by credit card companies prevents us from assuring donors that every penny of every donation will reach the projects we support.
As commission rates have fallen we are now happy to accept credit card donations. However, please bear in mind that the commission donors must still pay makes this a relatively inefficient and expensive way of giving compared to the other methods described on these pages.
We are currently examining how best to process donations made online and/or via a credit card and will update this website accordingly in the near future.
