Friends of SHINE

Friends of SHINE recognises all those individuals who have expressed an interest in becoming more closely involved in our work and the projects we fund.

This group offers the opportunity to receive more detailed feedback on project successes, meet the individuals responsible for these inspirational programmes and encourage greater co-operation and support to help facilitate the work that we do.

Friends of SHINE was initially launched at an exclusive reception hosted by Rt Hon Gordon Brown MP and Mrs Sarah Brown at Number 11 Downing Street. At our most recent event, we were delighted to welcome Friends of SHINE to the stunning Locarno Suite in the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, where we were addressed by Alastair Campbell and enjoyed canapés and champagne generously sponsored by Amalia Paul in memory of her aunt Ambika, and Caparo Ltd.

For more information on how to join Friends of SHINE please ring the SHINE office on 020 8393 1880.
