However hard we try, some programmes just cannot be squeezed into any other category. This section includes some projects that take a fresh approach to literacy, speaking and thinking skills; others involve summer schools and after-school programmes.
The help they provide takes many different forms but each one has a common goal: to help students to improve their grades so that they can start to fulfil their potential, whatever it may be and wherever it may take them.

Building a structured and proven effective after-school programme into the provision at an inner city community centre to support young women and their families in Brixton. more >
